Aconcagua - GPS coords and altitude

GPS coords and altitude

The rightmost column provides total times for typical sections done in a day. The times are not my own however, and seem quite optimistic, even relative to the strongest hikers in the group I was with. The times to Confluencia and Plaza de Mulas seem about right, but I'd say PdM to California is more like 3 hours, and California to Nido 4 hours.

I've also prepared versions of this data for Garmin GPS, as MPS and DXF files.

Use these coordinates at your own risk. While I think they are right up through Nido, I have not verified them carefully (or at all beyond Nido).
