• January 27 meeting - On December 9, 2008 the Napa County Board of Supervisors (BOS) voted to remove all agricultural designated lands from all of the so-called "bubbles" in. They continued further discussion regarding land use designations for the remaining lands in the Angwin and Pope Creek "Urban Residential bubbles" to Tuesday, January 27, 2009, at 1:00 p.m. at the Lincoln Theater in Yountville. • Angwin residents submit plan for future of village
  Several months ago, Pacific Union College and the Triad Corporation of Seattle, Washington, announced a "Grand Plan" to build 591 housing units on Angwin lands which the College would sell to Triad. Shocked and angry, community leaders realized that such a sharp increase in population would dramatically change the nature of the village's rural environment and create significant new costs for residents. read more...
