San Juan Shotokan 10th Anniversary Camp August 29 - 31,2008 Eleven years ago, when Robert Anderson Schoepe offered to build a dojo, asked what size the training area should be, what kind of floor, etc. it hardly seemed real. When I visited the site, saw the foundations and concrete being poured, I still could not fully believe it. Even now, as I bow to Master Funakoshi's benign portrait, I take a deep breath and savor this mixture of dream and reality.

The dojo officially opened on August 28, 1998 with a 3 day training camp. We celebrate its 10th Anniversary with a similar camp this August. Mark Tarrant, former National Champion and World Cup team member, will once again share the teaching and we hope you will join us for 8 hours of pure, unadulterated shotokan. Try not to miss even 5 minutes of it!
